In the town of Enschede, an anti-refugee protest took
place. The demonstration was a protest
against plans to establish an emergency refugee center in the town. About 400 people attended. Trouble started when a group of protesters marched
toward the city center. Police dispersed
the demonstration on the instructions of the mayor. Six people were arrested for using Nazi
salutes, insulting behavior and physical attacks.
