Amsterdam rabbi Raph Evers avoids as much as possible using tramways since he has been severely insulted there recently. As he is a recognizable Jew several Moroccans made remarks such as: “Hamas, Jews to the gas.” The Moroccan conductor had to intervene to stop the songs. Evers says that he takes expressions of hatred into account each time he walks in Amsterdam streets.
