A poll was undertaken by Motivaction among 1,600 people about what typifies current Dutch society. Three quarters of those polled characterized society as nervous, egoistic, aggressive and without respect. The Dutch have a very negative picture of themselves. Eighty-six per cent of those polled consider that the Dutch complain often. Eighty-four per cent think that the Dutch enjoy complaining. Thirty per cent consider the Dutch collaborate enough among themselves.
