Islamic School Wins Court Case against Alderman

The Rotterdam court has decided that Alderman for Education Leonard Geluk must apologize to the Ibn Ghaldoun Islamic school. Geluk had sent a letter to the parents of the school’s pupils suggesting that they look for another school, as Ibn Ghaldoun has the lowest ranking in the quality of education. The judge said that there are four other schools in the same category to which the alderman did not send a similar letter. Geluk intends to appeal.
