The number of safety incidents in Dutch air space has more than doubled in 2007 to 737. This has been documented in the annual report of the Dutch Air Traffic Control (LVNL). There were five dangerous situations as against only two in 2006. The LVNL employs 250 air traffic controllers and has 25 vacancies, which are difficult to fill.www.parool.nl/nieuws/2008/APR
