Tax Authorities Unable to Collect Proposed Taxes


Deputy Minister of Finance Jan Kees de Jager (Christian Democrat) says that the collection of new taxes which were agreed upon by the Government coalition partners cannot be carried out by the tax authorities. He stated that the Tax Authority’s computer problems make it impossible to carry out the proposed changes in the pension law or the announced car tax based on the number of kilometers driven.
