All Dutch municipalities get a monitoring point for aggressive dogs

There are about 1,5 million dogs in the Netherlands.  Data on dog bites are obsolete. In 2008 it was found that approximately 150 000 people were bitten by dogs annually.  One in five victims are children under the age of five.  In one of three incidents, a physician needed to be consulted.  Two hundred thirty people per year were hospitalized due to dog bites. Every community will now have a monitoring point for aggressive dogs and misbehavior of dog owners.
