The Dutch have never been so pessimistic about their own financial future before. One third of them expects a deterioration in the coming twelve months. During the global financial crisis at the end of 2008, it was 20%. More than two thirds of the Dutch think that the economy will deteriorate in the coming year. Only 39% of the people are satisfied with the European politics.
