Finance Minister: Economy Recovery Only After 2013

Dutch Finance Minister Jan Kees de Jager (Christian Democrat) said that only from the year 2013 can one expect economic recovery. Problems have been built up in southern Europe for 15 years. Europe has been too slow to understand that action was needed. He added that if one looks forward, countries shouldn’t be saved, but rather the banks. The only main reason why at present countries are saved is because of the fear that it may infect the European banking system. 2011 is going to be a difficult year.
