Ministers: Behavior of Moroccan Dutch Youngsters Can No Longer be Tolerated

Guusje ter Horst, Minister of the Interior (Labor) and Ernst Hirsch Ballin, Minister of Justice (Christian Democrats) have said that Moroccan Dutch youngsters are causing major problems in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht, as well as in smaller towns such as Ede, Nijmegen and Gouda. This group is over-represented in repeat criminality, school dropouts and unemployment. They provided figures for this and also said that the Moroccan community in the Netherlands has a responsibility to deal with this problem. http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/2027625/_Marokkanen_hebben_het_verbruid

Your headline this time is, as has at times been in the past, not favorable to Moroccans, not the Dutch, and as such isn't in line with the purpose of the Bad News concept. But I'll turn it around with my post.

Of course these kids are problems, wouldn't you be if it was shown over and over again how these kids have little hope for a future in a country that still has a colonial attitude, a sort of white supremacist attitude, that Dutch lineage is your only guarantee to success here. The largest evidence I can offer up is the fact that the Dutch have made an official, yes official, distinction between members of its society, labeling these people as allochtonen.

As a person who's lived here for ten years with my son and who is working on an escape plan, I have experienced with great frequency how poorly its immigrants and children of immigrants are treated. Then the Dutch wonder why they become radicalized and militant in behavior, lacking incredible insight on the part of the Dutch, who claim to be the next best thing after sliced bread. Apartheid may have ended in South Africa in the 1970's, but the spirit is alive and doing well in the Netherlands. There's more than empirical evidence to back it up, as well.
