2.5 Million Dutch Citizens cannot read or write properly


A report commissioned by a literacy foundation from Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC), found that 2.5 million people in the Netherlands cannot read or write properly.  This is twice the number that was previously thought.  According to the researchers, a conservative estimate is that these people cost the Netherlands more than 1 billion per year.
