782 people died while participating
in medical trials in 2016. Another 5000 experienced
life threatening wounds, hospitalization, or became handicapped. The Central Commission for Human Research
(CCMO) said that 265,000 people participate in these trials yearly. They claim
that the deaths and incidents are not related to the medical trials.
