100 British football fans have been arrested in Amsterdam
due to hooliganism on the occasion of the soccer game between the Netherlands
and England. The English national police
chief’s Council (NPCC) said that it was the largest number for several
years. The UK Football supporters Federation
Chief Executive said: “there could be no defense of the atrocious antisocial
behaviour by a minority of English fans.”
