It has become known that Amsterdam Mayor, Eberhard van der
Laan pushed the municipality to hire Bilal L. as a youth worker. In the past, Bilal L. had been condemned to 3
years in jail for preparing a terror attack.
As a condemned criminal, the municipality could not hire him without
special dispensation which van der Laan requested. Once hired, one of his functions as youth worker, Bilan
L. was to fight prevent radicalization of youngsters. In fact, he promoted it.
