A secret report ordered by the French and Dutch trade unions
of Air France-KLM found that the continued existence of the firm is in
danger. This is due to the huge
differences in culture between the French and the Dutch. One KLM manager was
quoted saying that “France is a kind of Greece, but bigger.” He was also quoted as saying that “the French
economy is a time bomb and Air France is a smaller time bomb.”
