Reign of Terror at Leiden University

An internal report has found 3 Professors at Leiden University have run for 20 years a reign of terror at its Institute of Pedagogy.  The culture of fear and intimidation has manifested itself by an exodus of academic scholars who were massively dismissed, got nervous breakdowns, or left on bad terms.  The key person responsible is the internationally well-known scholar, Marinus van IJzendoorn who has won many prizes amongst which is the Spinoza Prize.  The report was based on a 120 interviews.
