The Telegraaf daily has requested from the police all documents
concerning the arrest of migrants. The request was based on a law which makes
this possible. The paper has been supplied with thousands of pages. Part of the
migrants from countries which are considered safe apply for asylum knowing that
there is hardly any chance of it being granted. While their application is investigated
they commit crimes using the asylum-seeker centers as a base for that. The
paper writes that the number of such crimes is always far bigger than what the
police reports.

It is a very good initiative if media has been asked or bound to do full investigation, research or documentation before releasing any news. Now a day media has become a sources of unrest in the society due to its unethical and baseless news.
