Two thirds of the Dutch Defense
Personnel have no Confidence in the top military Leadership. This results from
a survey by the military unions. 84% say that Minister of Defense Jeanine
Hennis Plasschaert does not increase their confidence in the organization.
Major problems include material shortages, insufficient staff care and
inadequate employment conditions. There
are also problems with the shortage of ammunition. The survey shows broadly
similar results with those of 2013 and 2014. A spokesperson of one of the
unions called it a vote of no confidence in the top of the Ministry and gives
the minister especially a red card.
