Forty percent of Turks and Moroccans do not feel at home in the Netherlands

A report of the Social-Cultural Planning Bureau (SCP) writes that 40 percent of the Turkish and Moroccan Dutch citizens do not feel at home in the Netherlands. Increasingly they are becoming religious Muslims as an alternative identity. The problem is even bigger with the children born in the Netherlands, than with the migrants themselves. Among many Dutch, Muslims are associated with violence. As far as employment is concerned, the SCP says that both employers and immigrants have to improve their behavior in order to raise immigrant employment rates.
