Senior Police Officer: Turkey Blackmailed Dutch Justice

Klaas Langedoen, former chief of Criminal Intelligence Service (CID) says that in exchange for a Dutch condemnation of the Koerd Baybasin on the basis of false proofs, Turkey agreed to withhold information on the abuse of minor boys by former senior Dutch official Joris Demmink. Langedoen declared that as a witness before the court in Utrecht.

Dutch Buy Cheaper Gasoline in Germany

As gasoline and cigarettes are becoming increasingly more expensive in the Netherlands, more and more Dutch people cross over the border to Germany for their purchases. Gasoline costs 16 Euro cents more per liter in the Netherlands now than in Germany. This leads to major economic problems for Dutch gasoline stations near the German border which have lost tens of percent of their gasoline sales. While these Dutch are already in Germany to fill up their tanks, they also buy other goods in Germany, damaging the Dutch economy further.

Meat in Dutch Shops not Safe

The Investigation Council for Safety has published a report titled “Risks in the Meat Chain.” The report concluded that production companies consider economic factors more important than safe products. Hygiene rules are often not followed due to insufficient training of personnel, or due to time pressures for instance. Fraud in the meat industry is frequent also. Meat which is initially labeled as “waste meat” is turned into meat for human consumption. The safety of horse meat is not guaranteed, as it is so easily subject to fraud. The council concludes that the authority which is in charge of control and safety, the Dutch Food and Commodities Authority (NVWA) in particular, makes many mistakes. This is due to the frequent reorganization and cost-cutting. Its means are too limited to act efficiently in the meat chain.

Senior Prosecutor: Former High Dutch Official Involved in Pedophilia

In an interview, Hans Vrakking, former senior prosecutor in Amsterdam said that he had carried out a secret investigation about pedophilia accusations against former top official of the Ministry of Security and Justice, Joris Demmink. He said that Demmink’s driver told the Dutch intelligence service that he couldn’t stand the fact that Demmink had sex in the car from time to time with little boys. He was surprised that then-head of the ministry Harry Borghouts apparently was informed about his investigations.
