Specific security measures are being taken today at
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Only vague
reasons for this have been given. The
royal military police is controlling all traffic entering the airport. Long lines of waiting cars have formed. On Twitter it is mentioned that people
arriving with taxis have left their taxis to walk to the airport on the highway. Traffic on the highway has been hindered from the security. At 9:45 am the line
on the highway reached more than 3 kilometers.
Travelers are advised to get to the airport early.

Party, has asked for the rehabilitation of the whistle blower Frits Veerman,

Jihadists Complain about Conditions in Dutch Jail
Jihadists in the prison of Vught have written a manifest of
32 pages to protest their conditions there. Due to a mistake of the prison
management, the document has reached the media. The prisoners write that their
conditions are so sparse, that it is barely better than being in an isolation
cell. They claim, for instance, that
there are no sports facilities. They mention that they have raised these issues
many times with the prison management without results. One of the prisoner’s
lawyers, AndrĂ© Seebregts, says that “constructive conversations” are going on
about the conditions.

Rotterdam Mayor against Muslim Hate
As Salafists are planning an institute in an old school
building in Rotterdam, questions have been put to Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb in the
municipal council. Aboutaleb has answered that the municipality will do
everything to prevent activities which are illegal, cause unrest, spread hate,
and recruit people for war activities elsewhere. He added that there is no place for people
who use freedom of religion to prevent integration or incite various parts of
the population against each other.
