Sympathizers of the refugee collective “We are Here” have occupied
a former art academy building in the Eastern part of Amsterdam. According to the police, there are 30
occupiers in the building. These people
want to turn the building into a home for asylum seekers who have to return to
their country. The police do not know
what nationality these people hold.
