The number of reported incidents of digital attacks on websites
and on cyber systems of the Dutch government has doubled over the past two
years. The National Cybersecurity Center (NCSC) now receives, almost on a daily
basis - 293 times in the past year – a report of an incident concerning
government websites. In the private sector the number of cyberattacks has risen
as well.
