During the summer carnival in Rotterdam, 65 people were arrested. In some cases it was because they had attacked policemen. One policeman was bitten on his head. Another policeman had a bottle thrown at his head. One person was knifed in the face and the stabber managed to escape. Most people were arrested for public drunkenness, urinating in public, drug use, or because they had no I.D. on them.
