The Foundation for Problems of Fraud in Retailing (FAD) has mentioned in its annual report of 2010 that more and more shopkeepers are being robbed by family members, partners and friends of employees. This type of robbery leads to an annual loss of about 60 million Euro, about the third of the total damage caused by internal fraud by personnel.
