Amsterdam Labor Party attacks its own Mayor

The Amsterdam Labor Party is criticizing the new Labor Mayor of the town, Eberhard van der Laan. Frank de Wolf, the Chairman of the Labor Faction in the Municipal council said that the Mayor was too weak and passive on security matters. He added that the number of violent incidents in the Western parts of Amsterdam “is far too high.” It seems a ruin there. There are far too many people shooting and knifing each other. He added that Amsterdam should spend more money on the police.
