100 British Football Fans have been arrested in Amsterdam

100 British football fans have been arrested in Amsterdam due to hooliganism on the occasion of the soccer game between the Netherlands and England.  The English national police chief’s Council (NPCC) said that it was the largest number for several years.  The UK Football supporters Federation Chief Executive said: “there could be no defense of the atrocious antisocial behaviour by a minority of English fans.”

The Netherlands Intensifies Military Link with Iran

The Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense have decided to send a defense attaché to the Dutch embassy in Iran.  This is all the more remarkable as NATO, of which the Netherlands is a member, sees Iran as an enemy. Dutch ambassador to Tehran, Susanna Terstal, recently visited an Iranian general.  On the Iranian press website, Mehr News, the Dutch ambassador is quoted as saying, ‘The Netherlands is interested in starting military relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.’  It is known that the Dutch do not even have defense attachés in the countries of their NATO allies.

Turkish Media: Investigation of Dutch Spy

Turkish media report that the Turkish intelligence services are following a Dutch spy in Istanbul who has a Dutch diplomatic passport. They claim that he has paid large amounts of money to informers. The Turkish government has requested information about the issue from the Dutch government.  Relations between the two countries are tense. Both have withdrawn their ambassadors.

Imam calls Rotterdam Mayor Aboutaleb an enemy of Islam

The radical imam Fawaz Jneid has called Rotterdam Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb a heretic Muslim and an enemy of Islam. Jneid said that Aboutaleb hates Islam and fights against it. He calls him stupid and weak. Jneid added that Aboutaleb prohibits Islamic schools and is against mosques. Aboutaleb reacted that he hopes that Jneid will soon repent.

Massive abuse of working migrants

Thousands of migrants are working in the Netherlands under horrible circumstance that they are unable to escape.  The Labour Inspectorate, the Police and the Public Prosecution have greatly failed these migrants.  The weekly that has exposed this is not referring to the sex industry but to hot houses, kitchens of restaurants, ships, and construction sites.

Parents of two Dutch soldiers killed in Mali sue Ministry of Defense

Two Dutch soldiers were killed by grenades in Mali in 2016.    The parents of these soldiers said that the Military Policed informed them that their sons were killed due to a manufacturing error of  the grenades. A report by the Dutch Safety Board revealed that the grenades were never inspected, improperly stored and that these soldiers in Mali didn’t have access to quality medical care.  The parents are now pressing charges of death through negligence against the Ministry of Defense and an unknown number of defense employees. The Dutch Ministry of Defense does not want to mention names of the employees who played a crucial role in the run up to the accident.
