On Monday, a major outage occurred at Telecom Company, KPN.
This also led to the unavailability of emergency numbers. As a result, a woman in the town of Breda
died as she could not get through to the local safety office and ambulance service.
This led to a lethal delay. The police main contact number 112 was not
reachable for over 3 hours due to the outage of KPN’s system.
