Dutch Hotel Rooms often dirty

The consumer organization Consumentenbond has investigated thirty hotel rooms in 3- or 4-star hotels, owned by both individuals and chains.  Findings in these rooms included, inter alia, thick layers of dirt on the floor, mold and stains on the walls, litter, befouled mattresses including dried blood and hairs, as well as fecal bacteria on the shower floor.
