Plasterk (Labor) of the Interior said that in the annual report of the General
Intelligence Services (AIVD), it is stated that 30 jihadis have returned to the
Netherlands.They represent a potential threat to the country. Furthermore, new
Dutch jihadis are departing. The report also says that two Dutch jihadis have
blown themselves up in the past year. One did so in Iraq with a backpack aiming
at a civilian target. The other carried out a suicide attack with a car bomb in
Syria.
