Half of Amsterdam Population is Colored, Power is White

More than half of the population of Amsterdam is colored, but the power in the town is white. An analysis of 20 leading organizations shows that of 561 people in senior positions, only 22 are non-white. Of the 53 elected political figures only seven are of non-western origin. Among overall municipal employees the number of non-whites is 10%.

I think it has nothing to do with color. Most people in the netherlands accept who you are as long as you respect theire values. They do not discriminate on color. I`ve lived in Amsterdam for 12 month (see amsterdam videos at www.go2c-amsterdam.tv) and my color was no issue..
