Dutch parliamentarian, Ronald van Raak, of the Socialist
Party, has asked for the rehabilitation of the whistle blower Frits Veerman,
who has been intimidated by the Dutch authorities for many decades. Forty years ago, Veerman was a collaborator
of Abdul Khan, a Pakistani who worked in the Netherlands and stole secrets which
enabled Pakistan to build an atom bomb.
The Dutch Secret Service, which knew about the spy, did not want to
interfere because of a request of the CIA.
The know-how Pakistan acquired has been shared with Iran and North
Korea.
