In its annual report for 2014, the prosecution
department says that it has reached the maximum performance which is possible within
its available budget. This was said chief
public prosecutor Herman Bolhaar. He
added that the department has been told that by 2018 it has to reduce its
budget by a quarter, and that in these circumstances, one cannot expect further
improvements. The department says that there are substantial risks of an attack
