Leading Auditing Firm Suspected of Fraud

The Dutch branch of the major international accountancy firm KPMG, is being investigated for fraud by the tax authorities. A spokesman for the prosecution said that in 2009 and 2010, the developer of the new head office in Amstelveen probably sent false bills to the firm and thus the costs of the building are overstated.
