Parliament Criticizes Cabinet on Attitude toward Wilders

A great majority of Parliament is criticizing the government for not raising the subject of Great Britain’s refusal to allow PVV leader Geert Wilders into the country, at the EU in Brussels. Several parliamentarians of various factions stated that the government doesn’t want to defend free speech. Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Verhagen (Christian Democrats) said that Britain, according to European law, has the right refuse Wilders’ entrance.
