The consumer organization, de Consumentenbond has published
that no other Dutch company is subject to as many complaints as PostNL, the package parcel
delivery company. The consumer organization
received 4600 complaints about the company.
PostNL responded that it dealt with 251 million parcels last year which is huge amount.
The consumer organization said that PostNL’s customer service is bad because
only people sending parcels can complain.This project sets out to demonstrate that media coverage can degrade a country's image by using selective news without context. It uses the Netherlands as an example. It is a reaction to the frequent misrepresentations of Israel in many ways in major media, including those of the Netherlands.
