Saudi Arabia blackmailed the Netherlands in the UN Security Council
Saudi Arabia together with a number of other Gulf States, has
blackmailed the Netherlands in the UN Security Council regarding the Dutch attitude
toward the Yemen military conflict. Dutch media wrote that the Dutch Ministry
of Foreign Affairs has confirmed this. Apparently there were Arab threats of
economic sanctions against the Netherlands. The Netherlands has promoted in the
Human Rights Council of the United Nations that an international investigation
will be done concerning war crimes in Yemen and other transgressions of
international law.
