Huge pollution of Spraying Gravel with Asbestos
According to the Inspectorate of Social Affairs and Employment,
594 companies have used spraying gravel polluted with asbestos in spraying and maintenance
activities. The gravel was supplied by the company Eurogrit. Estimates are that
the damage caused to spraying companies could be in the order of magnitude of 200 million Euro. The Eurogrit
Company says that the quantities of asbestos are so small that according to
experts there are no health risks.
