A report of twelve Dutch Kings Commissioners
states that in the Dutch countryside criminals can go unhindered about their
business. There are no uniformed policemen in the public domain as there is no
patrolling. There is a lack of detection
capacity. The water police is so understaffed that they have no view on
organized crime in the harbors. Ongoing police investigations are abandoned. The
Ministry of Security and Justice did not want to comment on the commissioners
"opinion.". This project sets out to demonstrate that media coverage can degrade a country's image by using selective news without context. It uses the Netherlands as an example. It is a reaction to the frequent misrepresentations of Israel in many ways in major media, including those of the Netherlands.
