A teacher in Breda who had heard that pupils in Belgium were
rejoicing after the deadly terror attacks sent a tweet asking how one reacts if
in the classroom pupils rejoice in such a case. Three police agents came to his
home, saying that they came on behalf of the mayor and warned him not to do this
again. He had to sign a declaration. The mayor of Breda later apologized to the
teacher and said that it was a stupid action of the police. This project sets out to demonstrate that media coverage can degrade a country's image by using selective news without context. It uses the Netherlands as an example. It is a reaction to the frequent misrepresentations of Israel in many ways in major media, including those of the Netherlands.
