The Dutch Public Television Hides Anti-Semitism at Anti-Israel Demonstration
NOS, a Dutch Public
Television news broadcaster has admitted that it has censored the swastikas at
an anti-Israel demonstration in The Hague mainly attended by Muslims. They
claim that these were carried only for a short time by a single person. [Which
is untrue.] The Elsevier newspaper says that this attitude is inconsistent with
earlier NOS reporting on right-wing demonstrations. It comments: ‘If
expressions of anti-Semitism in 2014 have no news value anymore the question
remains which incidents the NOS want to publicize and which ones not.”
