At the headquarters of the Dutch General Intelligence Service (AIVD) in Zoetermeer, a common cyber unit (Joint Sigint Cyber Unit) will be created together with the military intelligence service (MIVD). This means that under 250 employees of MIVD will move to the AIVD headquarters. The AIVD wants an additional security clearance for the MIVD employees because they want to know who they are bringing into their headquarters. The MIVD employees are furious, because they already have a security clearance and want to take legal action against the AIVD.
