Death Threats to Liberals in a Municipality

The Liberal Party (VVD) will not participate in municipal elections in Heemskerk. The regional board of the party has decided this in view of extreme threats against several candidates. One of the candidates received a letter which said: “We know how to find you if you do not withdraw your candidacy.
