Party for Animals: Crown Prince Should Apologize
Marianne Thieme, leader of the Party for the Animals said that if Dutch Crown Prince Willem Alexander has indeed hunted ducks, he should apologize. She said this in parliamentary questions to the Prime Minister and bases herself on the apologies of the Spanish King Juan Carlo for his elephant hunting. There have been media reports that the Crown Prince’s dog was wounded in the hunt. Thieme also wants to know whether publicly financed bodyguards were present, as this is not appropriate.
